Asset and Sub Asset

Dear Guru's

1. Can anybody help me, my client requirement is like this - I have 1 main asset and 4 sub asset, if i maintain values for sub assets is it will add to the main asset,

Is it possible to maintain like this or I need to maintain each asset level,

If i maintain each asset level in any reprot it will show main asset value and sub asset value

if i given main asset no.

2. how to trans fer the asset from one plant to another plant with in company code.

please guide me for this scenerio,
