Hi
there is a proxy in transaction SPROXY under the "Service Interfaces" that i have to generate.
i am getting the following failure "Authorization Check failed: S_ICF_ADM with parameters ACTVT 01 ICF_NODE 5OTXUIR2OHHVYLCEJZROR1J6F"
I know it's concerning the authorization object S_ICF_ADM. please advise how do i check whether my user have access to this authorization object or not???

Hi,
Run SU53 for Authorization Check, soon after you have run SPROXY.
Add the missing authorization object withe help of BASIS.
Proxy object can be created via se80, too:
Right click Enterprise Services->Create->Proxy Object

hiii
i check with the basis team they don't seem to know why the authorization is failing. they even created a another user in sap for me but i am getting the same problem.
could it be that i am not an administrator on my PC or is there any other place i can investigate

Then, try creating your Proxy object through se80.

Well we get the access thru Roles. Roles specifies different Activities of Authorization Object.
so you need to know the role specific to this.
PFCG enter role, under Authorization tab, Click on Spectacles ICON to display Auth Data.
