Saint-Gobain security have made numerous changes to beef up security, and now SAP BPC no longer functions.

A few weeks back, we could use our SAP BPC installation without problems. Saint-Gobain security in France have been making major changes to all aspects of IT security, and making many and varied changes. I suspect that they have now blocked numerous ports and that in turn is blocking the app from working.

1. Our administrator gets a login window with the Business User Interface, and then after a while a connection timeout.

2. We also receive a "Please wait " from SAP Business Objects. "The system cannot connect to the (HTTP://CSESVNO0279AP28) server. Verify that you have specified a valid server name, or see if the server is unavailable at this time. We know that HTTP is to be phased out and replaced with HTTPS. However, this is not yet in place as far as I know.

3. I installed the EPM add-in for Excel SP 32 on my WIndows 10 computer and tried to connect to EPM. I get an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error.

4. Over and above McAfee anti-virus security have installed Carbon Black.

The BPC server connects to an SQL instance on our data-warehouse server (separate server).

I'm wondering if it's possible to get a list of ports that are used by BPC so that we can check if they are now being blocked. Our BPC consultants have not been able to find the problem. The nearest we come error messages is the following:
