Dear Friends

We have configuration of Negative time management in our company, now we want to shift to positive time management. First of all i want to know, is it possible to have negative as well as positive time management, if yes please advise me what are all the things to do so. Secondly, do you thing to go for positive time management after using negative time management for almost two years is ok. Thirdly, is there any way to restrict the system to process salary for those employee who are still active but obsconding not coming to office. Please advise, other than option of blocking, puting negative attendance. Can, i restrict with PCR.

Negative to Positive time Mangement is possible..

Is your quotas and all same?

change the schema and running the time evaluation...

For this here you can write the some PCR's in the Positive time Management. All the things you can keep reday. What is ur requirement difference for that -ve reqt and the +ve reqt.

Fist think that scenarios first. Then you can do the changes...

Any query's Pls let me know.

    Thanks and Regards,

Revathi, we are taking out the text file from time punching machine and uploading it through BDC. Now what we want the system should not process salary for those employee who are active but not reporting to office since very long. Can you tell me how to write the PCR to restrict the system to process salary for those employee only whose attendance is inputed.

    Hi Havvels,

first and foremost thing when you are shifting from -ve to +ve you should have in mind is the how you are recording the time.

second is the leave policies in your organization.

for eg: if it is a manufacturing company Earned leave policy is based upon factories act i.e for 20 physical working days 1 leave is granted (excluding of your leaves and absent days).

PCR is not rquired ravi you can lock the employee in IT 0003 for running the payroll.

    - ve to +ve is possible, and you can have both at a time in a single schema. Yes we can restrict employee payment through PCR
