Reimporting software component versions

Hi,

We have created a usage dependency in SLD for SWC2 for objects from SWC1.

i.e we wanted objects from SWC1 to be used in SWC2. But the objects are not reflecting in IR after creating the usage dependency even after refreshibng cache.

We were thinking of reimporting SWC2 from SLD. But will the previously created objects get deleted from SWC2? Because usually SWCs are imported when they do not contain any object.
