ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

Hi

When i have perform cleanup logs through DB13 it shows following errors --

BR0301E SQL error -1031 at location dblog_cleanup-5

ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

BR0301E SQL error -1031 at location dblog_cleanup-6

ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

there is no problem when i have perform other SAP DBA Operations.

Hi Vikram

check these Notes, but i don think that this is the problem with user authorization. It seems to be the problem with the log file or log directory from where the job is trying to cleanup.

check which user is running cleanup job in db13 and check whethere OPS$ mechanism is used while starting this job or not, this must be in detail logs. If possible, also check which directory or log file it is trying to access, there must be some permission problem with that dir or file.
