SCP Workflow - Use active directory as workflow heirarchy

Hi,

We are planning on using the SCP Workflow Service. As part of this, we want to use the active directory as the hierarchy to be used by the workflow service. Here are my questions:

1. Is this possible?

2. Is there a blog out there we can use as a reference?

3. Can business rules be used here? If so, would rules be able to use AD for hierarchy?

Any help would be highly appreciated.
