procedure to create multiple tasks

What is the procedure to create the multiple steps taks in workflow and tcode for that.

What do you mean by multiple step task? Do you mean a subworkflow? Explain your requirement in detail.

no i mean in workflow we have 2 types of tasks

1- single step tasks.

2-multiple step tasks.

single step tasks which we create normally.so i want to know how to create the multiple step tasks.i heard that we need to start with-

1. In the UWL view, choose New Task.

2. Select Multiple Steps from the Task Type dropdown list.

3. Under Subject, enter a title for the task.

4. Choose Add Step.

Here iam unable to get the step 1.please could you tell me the exact procedure.

It is related to UWL - Universal Worklist. I never got a chance to work on it. Wait for other gurus to respond.

Hi priyank

Sub workflow is nothing but calling one workflow in another workflow. For example have a look at this workflow template WS12000003. Here WS12000003 calls WS12000006. This is called subworkflow

hi vijay,

I got it.But when i checked workflow template 12000003 in pftc.iam unable to see the 12000006 this workflow.even checked with workflow builder (push button)..its not displaying anything.Please elobrate in detail.

Go to SWDD and give workflow number : WS12000003 and click on activity step ( Booking Course Participation Time-Dependent ) . you can see WS12000006 Details
