Limited Logistics and Finance User details differentiation

Hi All,

The following detail has given at the time of requesting the License for one of my customer.

Professional User - 4

Limited CRM User - 1

Limited Logistics - 4

Limited Finance - 3

I have downloaded the license from SAP Portal in which i have got 11 - Professional, 1- CRM Sales, and 1- CRM Service.

How do we differentiate the Limited Logistics and Finance from the Professional Users?

Kindly clarify the same.

Hi,

It is only able to differentiate by using license contractual info. In the B1 itself, the limited type license components are as same as professional users.

In order to make it behaves like financial only, logistic only and limited crm, just use general authorization and / or SP_transaction notification.

Hi,

in the current releases the limited users are full professional users.

With the next release 8.8 of sap business one the new limited user types takes place.

That means until the release 8.8 are limited users = professional users.

Hi Challa

Due to backward compatibility, SAP is still issuing Professional licenses for the limited licenses at this time. This will be changed in the 8.8 release due end of this year/beginning of next year. It will only therefore affect your customer when the new license manager is installed with the new version. In the interim the limited licenses will function as full professional licenses and cannot be differentiated at this time.
