I have the following requirements for a workflow solution. It must provide:
1 - A clear report where I can see which processes are running, in which step they are currently, and whose is assigned to the task.
2 - A report where I can see average times for how long it takes to process each task, with drill down to user.
Does BPM contain these reports in standard delivery: Yes or no? If the answer is No, then SAP should really provide these kind of reports in standard ASAP. It is pointless to implement a powerfull solution with the kind of licencing SAP uses, and then say to your clients "Well....you can't really identify the bottlenecks in the process with this solution....'.
Also, if the answer is No, can I construct a Web Dynpro Java from scratch which reads from the database and provides this data? In essence, does the BPM data model provide this possibility for custom development?
KPIs are critical in any workflow solution which wants to be taken seriously in this competitive market.
