Change the size of components at runtime

Hi all,

Is there any possibility to define the component size at runtime? I would like to set the height or width of a background component with the value of a flash variable or column. Is it possible?

I'm pretty sure that's not possible.

What kind of thing are you trying to achieve?

I have a dashboard that have variable number of lines, with a gauge for each, are presented on a background. To have a good presentation, I wanted to adjust the height for the amount of lines.

Hi Marcelo ,

Thats not possible. If you had a custom add-on you may be able to do a little more but Xcelsius components are designed to be the same you make them at design time.

Hi Marcelo,

I do not know of an existing add-on that does what you want.

One source for add-ons is in Xcelsius, go to File, Manage Add-Ons then click Get More Add-ons.
