LSO - Course Completion Specifications Infotype

We are on LSO 600 / SP14

When I access a Business Event Type through LSO_PSV2 - Dynamic Course Menu or LSO_PSV1 - Dynamic Participation Menu, while I am on Display Business Event Type: Data Screen, I do not see some of the tabs (Infotypes), for example Course Completion Specifications Infotype / Tab. Is this to be set up / configured somewhere . I thought it is SAP standard functionality and one doesn't have to set it up specifically

Matt,

SAP does deliver configuration by delivery method, but you are free to change this (add/delete/reorder infotypes as needed by delivery method). This is done via the IMG. Under Learning Solution>Basic Settings>Dialog Control-->Current Settings, you will find Maintain Personnel Actions. Here you will find the various actions for the different delivery methods, and you can review/modify as needed. Course Completion Specifications IT should be already configured for you for delivery methods like WBT and online test.

Just to add some additional information here based on a recent OSS note I had with SAP. Although this configuration table does allow you to add or delete infotypes, SAP doesn't expect customers to change the ordering of the infotypes. I ran into a problem when doing this because the coding for properly initializing the infotype assumed that a different infotype was ahead above it in the table.

HI,

Business Event Type(BET) is associated with Deivery Method.

So when you create a BET , there are few Infotypes which are not needed

For Eg.,For Static Course, there is no need for Weblink .Only for Webbased or online , Weblink IT has to be maintained.

You can also select/deselect the IT for a particualr Delivery method in the Configuration.

Hi,

Depend on delivery method you can see the infotypes(tabs). If you select delivery method classroom training you can't see Course Completion Specifications Infotype / Tab.
