Mail Adapter Issue

Hi all,

I am doing a scenario using File to Mail adapter. I have configured the Mail server details, while exectuing the interface i'm getting the "Socket Error". Can you please suggest any solution. The below is the error getting from receiver channel(Mail). Is this due to any firewall restrictions?

"Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: java.io.IOException: unable to create a socket"

Hi,

Mail Adapter(Mail Client) Communication channel is unable to connect to Mail server due to network or port issues. Try to check mail server communication by using mail client. If not the first time configuration of the adapter then better to inactivate the communication channel -> activate the change list -> keep the communication channel to active ->active the communication channel. So that Adaptrer will intialize the connection.
