basic pay 0008 infotype(Offset in WRITE TO in programSAPFP500is too larg)

Dear Friends,

When am creating the infotype 0008 for basic pay and when am giving the wage type it's giving the warning Basic Salary is not a part of Pay Components. if i will ignore this warning and am going to save it's give the short dump Program error: Offset in WRITE TO in program "SAPFP500" is too large. I don't know why it's coming kindly tell me how we resolve this problem am very thankfull for you .

Its absolutely abap dump,better to contact your abap team member to analyse abap bump.

Please check with the ABAPer to understand the dump in detail or post the complete dump message here.

Also if it is happening all emps or all possible IT0008 wagetype, then check whether there was any support pack / EhP / notes applied recently with last 2 days. If so, please raise an OSS message to depending on the priority.

If its for only a specific wagetype, then we need to check the dump and config.

Please share more abt the issue.

Hi,

Just check with your ABAP team and ask them to Debug the program and they can also check the dump and can resolve problem.
