Need Inputs from you all regarding new development in XI

Hi Experts,

Appreciate your inputs...

I have one scenario of sending files to legacy system through FTP.

ECC system will generate the flat file with data and places the file in one folder in local server.

[Please Note: XI will not genetrate the File, only ECC system will generate the file]

My job is i have to pick up that file and send to legacy system through FTP.

So here the XI job is to pick up that file and place it in legacy system folder.

Please advice what all should be done.

Please send it Step by Step.

Hi ,

Use Simple file to file scenario.

The mapping is done depending on the source and target structure. That needs to be taken care.

Use file to file scenario with FTP protocol for sender and receiver adapter.

Check the links for more details configuring FTP protocol.

Hi Ravi,

Its noe File to File Scenario but its just XI---File scenario.

As ECC system will generate file and place in local server in one folder.

My job is to just pick up that file and send to legacy system through FTP.

So here i think IR is not required as no mappings are there.

In ID what all comm channels are required and what all configs are required please advise.

And also please tell me what information to be given in parameters in comm channels.

it is for FILE to FILE without IR

parameters in CC need to actual...like FilePath, FileName.....other all details are dummy
