creating Transfer Order items in order based on value of storage unit type

Hi experts ,

Is there any way of creating T.O items in order based on value of storage unit type . We are creating T.O in background from tcode LT03 .

I tried chnaging the sort of table T_LTAP_VB in EXIT_SAPLL03A_012 of project MWMTO012.thought it would save the items in database according the changed order of T_LTAP_VB in exit . But it saved differently .

I am not sure if that is possibe .

Any Inputs will be great .

Hi Vinay,

This can be done purely through customizing. Please check IMG -> Logistics Execution -> Warehouse Management -> Activities -> Transfers -> Processing Performance Data/Split. You will need to define a sorting profile for TO split in where LETYP (storage unit type) can be used as sorting condition. The sorting profile should then be assigned to defined TO split.

Hi,

You may not be able to control the creation of TO item creation sequence. But you can always control the way they are executed. You can do that using SORT profile while printing Pick list. If it is an RF based warehouse, we can sort the TOs as per your own sort strategy before they show up on the RF device.
