Hi,
I've installed the HANA express edition on AWS as an MDC system. The installation went well and I am able to connect to the system DB using the studio in my local windows PC. However, I am unable to connect to the tenant DB from my studio. I tried by changing the parameter 'public_hostname_resolution' to 'no' but did not work either. The tenant DB's index server listens on port 30041 as per the note 2101244 but when I do a netstat on 30041 from my linux host, I get the following output.
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:30041 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
My other services are all listening on my private ip while I am connecting to the HANA instance using the AWS elastic ip (public ip). Has anyone encountered such an error before? Thanks for your time.
