Hi experts,
We can not save views in Portal the following message appears just right after we click on the save as option: "The standard transport system is active. It is not possible to save"
This message only appears in the QAS & PROD systems.
We have already change the options at the RSA1>Transport Connection> Changeable Objects
This help us to solve the problem locally in BEx Analyzer! But the problem persist in Portals.
Any suggestion?
Thanks RP
Hi Rafael,
If I understand your query properly, May I ask you why you want to change them directley in Quality or Prod?
I would normally do this in Dev and then move across the landscape. I would never do the changes in QA or Prod, but as you said if you do the Object Changebility in these systems the result will be permitted locally.
Please let me know how you get on with your requirement. It's nice to know if you could managed to do it (with out opening the System) in QA or Prod.

Hi,
Please refer to the following note,
356018 - Activate the standard transport system in BW.
There you can read:
"...After activating the standard transport system, you can no
longer save objects from browser-based applications (example: saving a
view for a query in BW 3.0 Webreporting)..." This even applies for 7.0
release.
Hence Web Applications cannot support the popup for the transport
request assignment. In case you need to save views from a web
application it is mandatory to switch off the standard transport system.
Here it looks like you have activated standard Transport system in your
production system. Normally this should not be the case, because this
will prevent the creation of transportable object like Views, Variants
etc.
Deactivate Standard transport system in RSA1.
to do so perform the following steps:
1.) move to RSA1
2.) activate transport Conncetion Tab
3.) press menu->edit->Transport->switch-off standard
Afterwards the message will disappear.
Thanks,
Venkat
