I think this should happen automatically at the time of posting GR. Were you able to post the GR on an expired PO. I suppose this itself was not possible obviating a necessity for an error message as in MIGO or MB01 transation this PO will not be accepted. Is this not happening?

    Hi,

As per the requirement which you've given it is possible to make am error message while doing GRN by giving the latest GR date in the delivery tab of a PO in the item detail view. It validayes the date given in the Latest GR column and proceeds as per the date.

    hi,

That validity period is related to the lost date of material or service to be received but not related to migo .

so you can take the migo with in the validity period only. it is not specified the migo date you can take the migo any time with in the validity period .

    Thanking you.
