Default Payroll Area using Personnel Area

Hi,

There is a feature called ABKRS i.e. 'Default value for payroll area'. I want to know if you can default the payroll area using personnel area / personnel sub-area because there is no field decision operation for personnel area/sub-area. Please guide me if there is any way out to it's solution.

you can default the payroll area by using feature called ABKRS, there is a decision tree in feature t.code pe03

Hi Irfan,

The query which u have posted, if i have understood u correctly, then you can select Personnel Area & Personnel Subarea. Please follow the steps : -

1) Go to T.Code - PE03 & Give - ABKRS.

2) In the SUBOBJECT field in PE03 screen, select ATTRIBUTE radio button.

3) click CHANGE.

4) Click STRUCT. button.

5) Then in the next screen WERKS for Personnel Area & BTRTL for Personnel Subarea.

6) Save it & come back.

Then u'll find it in FEILD FOR DECISION OPERATION to select.

Hi!

payroll Area : It groups together personnel numbers that are to be processed on the same date.

It determines the exact payroll period.

It can be Company /Personnel Area/Sub Area /Business Nature basis and accordingly you should default it in PE03> ABKRS feature in reture value

And subnode is used in feature to create path, hirerchy ( to provide path to the system )

Hi,

There is a provision to default the payroll area based on the Personnel area. If the PA / PSA decision parameters are not available at your end you can change the settings for ABKRS feature provided you have the rights to do the same.

In PE03 for feature ABKRS, select attributes and hit Change.

There you will see a Tab as "Struct" on the bottom left.

Click it. You will see various parameters EE, ESG, PA ,PSA, etc.

Only the ones that are selected will appear as decision parameters for the tree in ABKRS.

So if PA PSA are not selected, select them, save and then activate the feature.

Hi,

ABKRS acts as a default value for employees when you enter their information in infotype 0001.

To default these values, you need to customize certain inputs in feture ABKRS

You will have to select under the country grouping which u want to default.. and select the personnel area and personnel sub area under field decision operation give your own personal area and personal sub area, and activate this decision operation, and when you assign your employees to that particular PA & PSA it would automatically take the payroll area defaulted in ABKRS,

Hi,

Yes you can payroll area on the basis of Personnel Area and Personnel Sub Area wise.

In the feature in the maintain

Go To->Structure

Here u can select Personnel Area and personnel sub Area as decesion operators.

Hi Helen,

Please post the error message completely and i hope that you are facing error in 0001 infotype.

Check for the account assignment features maintained against the position id.Also check for the entry in  V_T001P table for PA and PSA. Then check the ABKRS feature.
