Not able to delete item in local contract

Hello SRM experts,

Can anybody tell my why the trashcan for items in a local contract (in the action area) is grayed out? So Iu2019m not able to delete an item in a contract.

There are no call-offs made on the item yet, but still not possible to delete.

Or is it maybe an authorization issue?

And how is it related to the status you can set in a contract (active, inactive etc.)
