What solution can I find the Locations, Assets, and Work Orders in?

I am trying to determine what solution has the Locations, Assets, and Work Order Apps in them? I see the SAP Asset Intelligence Network and the Mobile Asset Manager, but I need the Asset type apps that is found in the older SAP Plant Maintenance. Just need to understand how this is packaged in s4hana/Fiori?

We're targeting cloud by default, but am assuming some customers who will want our App will stay on-prem. So we're designing and developing for the cloud, and will lean on the SAP platform to get us to on-premise if a customer asks for it.

Ok..so the answer to my original post is your need SAP AIN (Asset Intelligence Network) on Neo, or Cloud Foundry at a minimum.

Hi Guys. Based on what I can see. On the Hana Cloud Platform there is something called Asset Central. You communicate to Asset Central via RESTful services and Asset Central communicates to the backend old ECC6.0/s4Hana stuff.

I'm not experienced enough on the modern systems (S/4HANA) yet, but judging by the 'old-school' ECC and the information on the web, you could check the following links :

• Check the Fiori Apps Library, Filter Apps for "S/4HANA" in the Line of Business "Asset Management" : link (Object Page Apps like : Display TechObject, Find TechObject, Analytical List TechObject, ...). And a Blogpost on S/4HANA Cloud mentions new Object Pages in the Cloud version 1802 : link
• How about the Classic OR Fiori-Styled "Enterprise Search" : link (App ID "ESH_ADMIN_UI_COMPONENT") that should allow you to Search a lot of your SAP-Objects ...
• The "Asset Viewer" seems to remain a part of S/4HANA portfolio in Asset Management : There's a Blogpost on the ECC-version here (link) and you can also find Fiori-Style Asset Viewer images on the web ...
• There are some other solutions out there, delivered by Partners such as the "Asset Information Workbench by Utopia" : link
• The use of WebUI and POWL (Personal Object Worklist) could also provide a solution : link

I realize I'm going a bit left and right here, but I would check the FioriAppLibrary for Asset Management (so called "Object Pages"). After that, see what the current state and possibilities are of the "Asset Viewer" and the "Enterprise Search". Finally, you could revert to generate a new set of POWL-lists that could apply to your specific Requirements ...

As ever, you can come up with a number of 'sort-of' solutions and it is a case of weighing in all the pros and cons, I guess.

I am still learning, like you. Perhaps someone from SAP can clarify if I say something incorrect.

Within the S/4HANA Digital Core lies what was previously in ECC. On-Premise versions include 1610 (October 2016), 1709 (September 2017), and 1809 (September 2018). There are also cloud versions which have more frequent releases. Use Simplification Lists to see what functionality has changed for each release.

The systems that I can access as a partner include Fiori Apps for the standard EAM/PM transactions from ECC. I find that most of them are really the same transaction and are yet to be optimized for Fiori. The development to support Asset Management is clearly going toward the systems you mentioned, plus IIoT in SAP Leonardo.
