What is Material pricing group ?

How to change the Material pricing group discription, please explain with tcode ?

You can enter or change material pricing group with TCode V-88.

From the field help:

Material Pricing Group

A way of grouping materials to which you want to apply the same

conditions.

Use

You can create condition records for a material pricing group using the

following condition types:

o Material pricing group (for example, all non-food products)

o A combination of customer and material pricing group

o A combination of price group and material group (for example, all

wholesale customers and all non-food products)

Try the IMG menu path: Sales and Distribution -> Basic Functions -> Pricing -> Maintain Price-Relevant Master Data Fields -> Define material groups.

You can change it at following customizing path:

Sales and Distribution > Basic Functions > Pricing > Pricing Control > Maintain Price relevant master data fields > Define material groups.

Hi Prashanth,

You can test as follows:

Step 1) Assign this material pricing group in material master.

Step 2) You could create a condition record for this newly created material pricing group.

Step 3) Create a sales order and see if the pricing is picked correct as you have mentioned in step 2.
