Dear Sap Experts,
I want to make such changes that system should not allow to open production order in previous date. If user enter other then current date in start date system should not allow. Please guide me how is it possible in standard.
Regards
Muhammad Umar
Dear All,
Thanks for your reply. I have set 0 days in past , if user define old date then system just give message and then brings current date. But main issue is date it take all those components from BOM which lies on previous date.
I am opening order from CO01 , do not converting from planned order/
We are using forward scheduling is it possible in forward and if we change to current then what will be its impact on other processes like MRP etc?
Regards
Muhammad Umar

Hello
If "Start in the past" in OPU3 is initial, system will execute "today" scheduling, so that current date is always taken. And if "Adjust dates" is also set to "Adjust basic dates", then the entered start date in past will also be overwritten by current date.
best regards,
Jessica

Hello
Do you mean that you don't want to convert a planned order to production order if the start date is not the current date?
There is no setting on the standard system to control that, but you can use BAdI WORKORDER_UPDATE to add your own logic. With the method AT_SAVE you can check the order date and trigger an error message to prevent the production order to be saved if the condition is not met.

I think you refer to the scheduling dates, right?
In this case OPU3, field 'Dates in past' should help you.
