CCMS AUTO REACTION METHOD

hi all,

i hope u all r fine and in the best of ur health.

i have a problem regarding CCMS Auto reaction method , i want to use my own copy of this method

SALO_EMAIL_IN_CASE_OF_ALERT_V2 , but i am recieving a fatal error when ever i try to execute

auto reaction method manualy in RZ21.The reason that i am using this custom copy of this funtion module is that i want to display my own data when ever i recieve the email.

if any body could help me in this regard, thanks in advance.

what is the error you are getting while using the copy of this method and did you copy it while creating a new one from standard template using RZ21 autoreaction configuration screen ?

hi Bhudev,

I get the error like FATTAL ERROR , i copied the function in rz21.

for e.g

ZZ_CCMS_OnAlert_Email_v2 and in the defination of this function i used

copy of SALO_EMAIL_IN_CASE_OF_ALERT_V2 , like ZV2SALO_EMAIL_IN_CASE_OF_ALERT

the reason is that i want to change the email context , and when i used the original function it sends

the email but not automaticaly infact with manual and with the copy function i recieve the above mentioned error.

In RZ20, if you select View > Status of Data Collector (and status of auto-reaction), more information can be displayed. From there, I searched for the error and found:

"the status of the collector is AL_TD_RUN_FATAL_ERROR this collector can not run automatically anymore until you reset the status. To reset the collector state choose Edit > Method Status > Reset Data Collection Method. Then the collector will run in the predefined interval again and update all corresponding nodes in the tree."

In my case, the error was in the auto-reaction, but I reset it the same way, and that fixed my problem.

Thankss alot for such great help, i did so as u wrote and it worked, now its updating itself the

data collection method.but now i am trying to do the same with the auto reaction method but the

email doesnot come automaticaly , i have to run this method manualy.

you might not have activated the dispatcher jobs in RZ21 yet, that's why autoreaciton doesn't start automatically

hi Bhudev,

i activated the auto reaction method and data collection method in rz21 but still no output,

i have scheduled in the background job sap_moni_batch_dp.... every 5 min. after 5 min the ccms

refreshes itself but the data collection method is not called , and when ever i run it manualy it is called

and also i have copied the data collecter from the example of EXAMPLE_OBJECT_CLASS.

and i did some amenments in it but i hope this problem is not due to that.

if u could help me in this regard , i shall be thankful to u..

As Guest suggested, have you activated the dispatcher job in RZ21 (in client 000): e.g., Technical Infrastructure > Central System > Activate Central System Dispatching.

Then, are there any transmissions errors in SOST (client 000).

hi Sean / Bhudev,

i have done that but was not working . but later on i find the answer and the solution.

actualy i am working in 100 client and data supplier program was running though in 100 cleint but

the select statement used in was reffering the 100 client tables so thats why when i used the select

cleint specified statement in my report and then tried again , the data collection method was running properly but was not having the data because earlier it was reflection towards the 100 cleint, but now

its pointing to the 000 cleint so its running....

any way thankssss alott for such help...

hi ,

My auto reaction method is working fine.and actualy i have written my own routines for the email function module and i send many emails from that function. And this function is the one

ZV2SALO_EMAIL_IN_CASE_OF_ALERT , so regarding the email generated by ccms i dont need that

any more, so when i deleted all the paramerter in rz21 the email from CCMS is not going but the others

are going which i send my self , the problem is that the email are coming in the junk mail box.

Can u plz tell me how can i get rid of this problem and the email come in the normal inbox.

If you check the content of the message as it is generated (tcoded SOST), there are not likely to be any "junk" flags set there. In other words, that's likely being determined by the email client software (or an internal firewall if you have one), so I suggest starting there.
