After deployment getting error as below.

MSS/ESS Deployment Exercise :

After building a project I successfully carried out several deployments after modifying the code within the project set.

On the fifth deployment we encountered the familiar error message 'did not accept login request as apiadmin on port 50018, Cannot login, already active sessions'.

After restarting the SDM server successfully deployed a project.

Also getting error that is "deployment exception:filetransfer failed:error received from the server:connection between the server & client was broken".

Please provide the solution on this asap.

We try to deploy via NWDS & we are getting the same error.Please reply on this asap as for every deployment we need to restart either SDM or whole j2ee instance & it is not phisible.

No one is logged in to SDM GUI.We have restarted the SDM server & then we can able to deploy the applications for 2-3 times.This start of SDM server & then deployment of applications continues.Can you please suggest any way on this.

Hi Nilesh,

If my understanding is correct,you have the problem like this:

After restarting the SDM you are able to deploy for 2-3 times. After that you are getting active sessions.

Before deploying your application, make sure that nobody is deploying at that time and all their previous deployments are finished. Even if somebody deployment is in progress you will get Active sessions error.

Are you trying to deploy the same application all the time? Looks like one of your application is taking more time to deploy / not deploying because of some problem. Try to find out that application and see the deployment log for that.

Hi Jaya,

At first time when we try to deploy the application,the error that we were getting is "Connection between client & server is broken".Then if we say yes & go forward then we got the second error "'did not accept login request as apiadmin on port 50018, Cannot login, already active sessions".Is there any connection between these two errors?

Also we took care regarding the depoyment by individual person still we were getting the error.Please suggest any way on this so that we can proceed further.

Hi Nilesh,

Did you login to SDM GUI? You cannot deploy if you login to that. You have to come out from that.

Also did you try immediatley after restarting the SDM? Still getting active sessions problem?

Hi,

You will get "Already active session" when there is some other deployment is going on at the same time. At a time only one deployment will happen.

And regarding "connection between the server & client was broken" error, is it coming all the time? Go to "J2EE Engine" view and see whether server is running properly or not. If server is running properly try to close and open the NWDS.
