SAP BPC 7 NW Development Server Question

Hi Experts,

I have only worked on the MS version of SAP BPC and we need a development area for the NW version for project that are coming up. I am used to the MS version where you only need one box and you can develop to your hearts desire. I went through the NW installation guide and it is now as clear as mud 😊

Could you please help me with the following questions:

1. How many physical boxes will i have to buy? Do you really have to allocate one sever for .Net and the other for the NW?

2. If two boxes are required, what server specs would you suggest for a development are for a team of about 10 developers?

3. Hasn't anyone put together a VMWare version of the BPC 7 NW server setup yet that is available for download/purchase?

That is all the questions that i have for now, assistance would be greatly appreciated.
