    Hi Devi,

Set a specific transfer date to the company code, which should be the last day of last closed fiscal year. This will be treated as a legacy asset transfer date.

Create a DEP KEY with SLM with Dep rate 10%

Create an asset with Tcode AS91

Enter the data in all the fields, after entering the data enter the dep key in the asset master, that you created above. and enter expired usefull life in years and in periods.

After entering dep keys at various dep areas click on takeover vales

on that screen enter the asset APC value as 100000

in the Accum dep field enter 20000, So your net book valuie of asset will be 80000 only.

so from now onwards system will calculates dep on 100000 with SLM of 10%, when u run the dep run.

    Hope u got my point.

    Thanks,

    Srinu

    What is then the problem?

    This is the standard upload.

You fill in aquasition value 1,000,000 cum depreciation 200.000 and then the next 8 years it takes 100.000 a year.

Search on this forum whit AS91 and you will found how to do the upload
