Hi gurus,

I´m facing with a problem which is related with user J2EE_ADMIN .

When I tried to setup the technical prerequisites for remote service delivery in SSM when I´m try to do, in note 1172939* the section II.5 Transfer of solution to SAP this point: "You may also have to configure the data dispatch here. To do this, choose: Goto -> Data Transfer Configuration" the system ask me for user and password for active this service that will allow me to send the solution in SSM to SAP!! And the problem is on this login, I don´t know why I can´t enter... so maybe I admit that I forgot the password of user j2ee_admin, but I have already change it in property client at tcode SU01!! Even so I can´t enter... WHY !? I don´t know what´s happen.. and what I have to do so that I overcome this problem!!???

I already check note 669848 - Unlocking the Administrator User on the J2EE Engine/AS Java... but I can´t get the solution for this, I must enter in this login with this user for I can setup this Service for SAP Solution Manager.

*1172939 - Technical prerequisites for remote service delivery in SSM

Thanks in advance,

Best regards,

João Dimas

Are you getting any kind of URL to enter the j2ee_admin and password, what is the screen you are getting ?

you can try to use sap* in the java Side and unlock the J2ee_admin from the url.

to activate sap* you need to login the configtool and go to the global server option andthen select the Umesecurity provider then click on Ume Master Password nad set it to true and set the password for the UMemasteruser that is the sap8 for java.

Now restart to the JAVA and try to login with SAP* and the password that you have mentioned.

once you unlock then you can set ume masterpassword to false and restart it to login with j2ee_admin.

Hi Bhudev,

In Solution Manager when I try to setup that configuration that I describe for remote service delivery in SSM --> in this option http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/4894/j2eeadminerror2.jpg

When I press that option in that menu I was in the presence of this login screen, supposedly which I have put that user and password... but I can´t do that Why?! I don´t know:

http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/2538/j2eeadminerror.jpg

Also, I´m facing with same login error when I accede to web portal, for instance, when I try to accede to User Management section:

Hi RishiAbrol,

First at all I have a question because I still didn´t understand well one thing, there are one or two users J2EE_ADMIN, one for Abap and other for Java side ?! I ask you this because, as I already mentioned before, I just already change the password of j2ee_admin in Abap side but still don´t get sucess in login screen!!

You refer in your post, that I have to activate the SAP... where?! I already activate that SAP in Abap side with SAP parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar = 0.

You say in Java side... so can you explain why I have to do that and how I do that? when you refer configtool is the visual administrator in java side?

we have one user only but Java is connected to one client that is 001 which comes default you can change it if you want the java to connnect with some othere client.

Yeah I know RishiAbrol, When I installed SAP solution manager I create the client 100 and I made that in java side, on web portal I change it from 001 to 100.

So, as you said I have to change the user j2ee_admin password, you describe it on that way... but I already change de password in client 100 on Sap (Abap side), but you mentioned Java side...!? At Visual Administrator?

Thanks in advance,

can you go to configtool and check under global server configuration->services ->com.sap.security.core.ume.service

then check the value of ume.superadmin.activated should be false if not set it to false and restart the Java

First at all... I had an error when I tried to answer and so I apologize to you all for that situation

So, regarding your answer RishiAbrol thanks one more time for your help... I check that value of ume.superadmin.activated and this value is FALSE!... By the way, where I can restart de JAVA lol 😛 In SAPMMC console at Java instance or can I restart that in SAP in tcode SMICM?

Another thing RishiAbrol, what you say about this note?! --> 669848 - Unlocking the Administrator User on the J2EE Engine/AS Java

It´s can help me in this situation?!

Thanks,

João Dimas

Hi there,

I´m still with the same problem, can you give me feedback if you have something to suggest!!?

Please... I don´t know why this is give me an error when I try to acceded to those option in portal... What´s weird in that is I got in System Information section but in User Management section I don´t get in with the same user and password (J2EE_Admin)... it´s very weird issue... I´d tried to found notes or any information about the same situation that others users had... but I didn´t found anything that answer this problem.

I already reached the solution...

The problem was in DNS, when I put -- http://jdsapssm.jd.pt:50001/index.html -- the problem keep on as usually... but when I try to put only the name or the IP of server instead that syntax DNS (jd.pt) the problem disappear and now I manage to do login to User Management section in Portal with user J2EE_ADMIN.

For instance:

http://jdsapssm.jmd.pt:50001/index.html or http://198.232.32.43:50001/index.html

The problem is documented by SAP in the Notes 654326 and 654982!

The problem is the number of letters that cannot exist in DNS (always more than 2 letters, here I have 2 and so that´s the problem)

Thanks for trying to help

Best regards.
