SuccessFactors extension site unable to load header and footer

I'm hoping someone may be able to assist with an issue I've been experiencing with SuccessFactors extension (SCP portal) sites for the past week or so (since around the time of the August 2nd SCP release). It seems there is an issue loading headers & footers from SF - each time a site loads the alert "The header and footer didn't fully load on this page, but the application is working normally. Try again later" is thrown. As the alert indicates, the application does continue to work normally, but it would be nice to have the header and footer back. The issue also occurs when creating new sites (in edit mode) - screenshot below.

From what I can determine, it appears it may be related to a failed call to /fiori/flp/v1/extensions/template - see screenshots below.

SCP Portal is running in AP1 connected to a DC4 demo instance

Any help would be much appreciated...many thanks.

Hi Ian,

Is this issue still happening?

The cloud portal is using the destination sap_hcmcloud_core_odata to fetch the footer and header info from SF.

Could you check if this destination is working correctly under portal service?

Thanks,

Susan

Hi Susan,

Yes, the issue is still happening. I've checked destination sap_hcmcloud_core_odata under the portal service and it looks OK - a connection can be established.

Any other ideas? Do you think it's worth trying to connect a new subaccount?

Thanks,
Ian

Hi Ian,

You can check F12 network trace to see if there are any error when retrieving the header.

Instead of connecting a new subaccount, I see the issue is on AP1 region, it's better to raise an incident to re-enable the extension.

Best regards,

Susan

Thanks - I have already included screenshots of the error in my original post...the response is is 400 Bad Request - Failed to fetch raw data from SF machine

This is a non productive account so cannot raise an incident.

Hi Ian,

I mean to check the F12 network traces which URI is returning this 400 error.

For factory account, you can raise incident as normal.

Susan
