Using Principal Propagation in SAP PO 7.5 single stack

Hello All,

I am doing a Purchase requisition scenario where PR data transfers from ECC to SRM using SAP PI as middleware (proxy - proxy scenario). Currently as per SAP standard configurations, the XI RFC user creates all documents in SRM side, hence 'created user' shows as XI RFC user.

My requirement is that the buyer who has created the PR in ECC, that user name should reflect in the SRM side. How do i use the principal propagation in PO 7.5 single stack, if anyone can share the steps to be followed.

I need to know if there are any steps to be performed in ECC or SRM system?Or steps to be done in NWA? i was able to find only below steps in PI - ID part.

1. checkbox principal propagation in ICO

2. assign SAP_XI_APPL_SERV_USER role to the user (buyer in source/target systems)

Hello Harish,

I have reviewed the blogs. My specific question is:

1. What are the end system settings(source and target system) needed to be done for PO 7.5 single stack system. In my case end systems are ECC and SRM.

2. by doing this, will the PR get posted in SRM with same user ID as the the one who created in ECC? and same user will go and update in the PR instead of PI user on SRM side?
