Translation in Function group

Hello,

I have maitained translations for FG text elements but when i saved it did not ask for Transport request. So what i did is , i did some changes in FG include and saved it in Transport request. and i have also locked the FG in the request ....

So my question is when we transport this request to QUALITY will the translations get transported ?

the transalations shoule be moved to Quality..

you can try by doing the transport right,

if it is moved it is well and good,if not also you will not losse anything but have to find some other solution..

you can do it via transaction SE63.

hai,

u have to translate from transaction SE63 the text elements

in SE63 from menu translation> abap objects> short texts

from teh tree abap texts select rept text elements

giev the object name the funciton group i,e startign with sapl

select the source language and target languaeg from the input help and edit

u get the text elements and from there u enter the translation and then enter the proposal under that create standard and give as Created by a New Translator , the new transalation will eb created for ur group, to inculde them in request execute the report RS_LXE_RECORD_TORDER , and it will create a new request for ur object and target language , this request can be transported with translations

Hi Ajantha ,

 GOTO - > SE63 - > in menu TRANSLATION -> Abap Objects  -> 
Transport Object --> in transport entry of object -->   R3TR  FUGR  (  your function group name ) .
check the source lang & Target lang . --> press EDIT .

ALL the translatioin under the function group are visible there , select each and check them whether they are translated or not .....

are you transporting this FG request for the first time or , have you changed any thing and then transporting it .

if it is for the first time , after TRANSLATION is done , ACTIVATE all the function modules , reports n other stuff in the Function group , check all the translations and release it , all the texts are moved automatically with the request .
