Dear Experts,
Unfortunately we lost some data records in one table, but we have backup files as a result of full backup process. My questions is "can we restore data records from backup file only for one table?" If can, how to do that?
Tx & best regards,
Heydarul
no, not possible to restore one table from full backup

Hi..
The best way to get data in the table back to do the tablespace recovery upto that time when you lost data. but it will delete all data which has been stored after you lost data. ( Not suggested to do in production).
For storing a sinsle table,
You can install a separate database, restore and recover it and get the table data exported form temporary created database and import in your SAP database.

Thanks to all... We do understand the "restore process" will not be performed in Production. About the integrity, the table contains data records as result from monthly process, so that we can check the integrity with other tables, and easier to "localize the problem" but have not solution yet to recover data records. Hopefully there is a solution without having store backup files to "dummy server", but able to obtain data records from backup files, because storing the backup files need server with very huge storage (around 5 TB)...

You do not need to restore the complete database.
You could follow the procedure indicated on the SAP Note 594601 "Restore table in minimal copy of current database".
Keep in mind the procedure mentioned in the note can (probably WILL) leave your system in an inconsistent state as you are introducing "manualy" data in a table that should be on other tables.
You must open a message at SAP on the application area you want to restore the data. That way they can check for logical inconsistencies, or tell you how to do it.
How did you "lost some records"?
Did you "lost" records from an SAP table or from a customer (Z/Y) table?
Are you sure you want to "recover" only those records? doing so can create logical inconsistency in your database. Have you checked so?

If u know whn ur data lost then u can do through timebased incomplte recovery.
otherway restore full database to a dummy machine and
take export single table from dummy machine then import to origional machine.
Note : Not suggest to production environment.
