CCM - Need Help on Support Package

Hello,

We are notified by our BASIS team that SAP Earlywatch report has recommended to upgrade CCM add-on support package from our current level 07 to 08 or above.

Can somebody advise me whether this recommendation can be implemented in our system (we are on CCM 2.0). And if yes, what shall we check after the installation? Many thanks!
