Dear Gaurav,

Please review note 997181 with attachment Two_Instance_E-REC_Integr_ERP_EN.pdf. It will explain you all the technical settings. Also review note 890357 "Minimum configuration of SAP E-Recruiting 600".

Best Regards

Christine

Standalone installation or installation as part of the SAP ERP Central Component (ECC)

SAP Customizing Implementation Guide -> SAP E-Recruiting -> Technical Settings -> SAP ERP Central Component (ECC) Integration.

Sample Customizing:

A sample Customizing is delivered for SAP E-Recruiting (C table entries).

With a standalone installation, you must have the SAP E-Recruiting add-on (ERECRUIT 600) before you can use the sample Customizing (for example, using client copy). In the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System, SAP E-Recruiting is automatically installed.

The entries are only transported to your client 000. If you want to make use of this, you must cascade these entries in your production client or test client. To do this, use the Client Cascading in the transport system, the client copy or the RHTTCP77 utility program (Copying client-dependent T77* tables from client 000). SAP E-Recruiting tables have the prefix 'T77RCF_'.

You can only copy the client after you import the SAP E-Recruiting add-on.

Software components: SAP_BASIS 700, SAP_ABA 700, TREX 7.0

You must install the SAP Web Application Server components SAP_BASIS 700, SAP_ABA 700, TREX Version 7.0 (see Notes 815866, 817145) and SAP-E-Recruiting 600.

You can install the TREX on the same instance as SAP E-Recruiting. For performance reasons, however, we recommend that you install the TREX on a separate instance since the search is very CPU-intensive. Consider the paragraph on connecting the search engine (TREX).

Set up the relevant components according to the mySAP HR Master Guide and the notes on installing the individual components specified in the guide.

For information on how to install SAP E-Recruiting see Note 830591, for information on how to upgrade, see Note 830592.

System parameters - Table T77S0

Since new system parameters were added, you should also configure the relevant settings in SAP Customizing Implementation Guide -> SAP E-Recruiting -> Technical Settings -> Set System Parameters.

Activate authorizations and set up special users

Activate the delivered roles (SAP_RCF*) using Transaction PFCG and set up the specified special user.

SAP Customizing Implementation Guide -> SAP E-Recruiting -> Technical Settings -> User Administration.

Activating HTTP/ICF services

The HTTP/ICF services must be activated before you can access them on SAP E-Recruiting.

You can find the SAP E-Recruiting Services (Transaction SICF) with the prefix 'hrrcf_' by following the path: default_host -> sap -> bc -> bsp -> sap SAP Customizing Implementation Guide -> SAP E-Recruiting -> Technical Settings -> SAP Web Application Server / Determine E-Recruiting Services /Configure and Activate HTTP Services Individually, or by using Transaction SICF.

Connecting the search engine (TREX)

You must link the search engine (TREX) to the SAP Web Application Server.

SAP Customizing Implementation Guide -> SAP E-Recruiting -> Technical Settings -> Search Engine -> Set Up Search Engine for E-Recruiting / Set Up Access to Documents / Activate Indexing / Check Settings.

Setting up the search index

You must set up the indexing of the documents in the search engine as a periodic service. The specific service for the indexing is called 'INDEX_DOCUMENTS'.

SAP Customizing Implementation Guide -> SAP E-Recruiting -> Technical Settings -> Periodic Services -> Define Periodic Services / Activate Periodic Services / Determine Rules for Periodic Services / Schedule Background Process for Periodic Services.

Setting up business partners

You must create a number range interval for SAP business partner. Ensure that an interval is indicated as 'standard internal'.

SAP Customizing Implementation Guide -> SAP E-Recruiting -> Technical Settings -> SAP Business Partner -> Set SAP business partner for E-Recruiting / Define Number Ranges / Define Groupings and Assign Number Ranges.

With these configurations you can use the most important processes of SAP E-Recruiting.

Consider also the system parameters CPERS PROLE and RECFA BPCOU, REXFA BPNAM, RECFA BRARO and RECFA AGYRO (from Note 874725).

SAP Business Workflow

Different processes, such as approvals, are mapped using the workflow. To activate these processes, you must also set up the SAP Business Workflow. To do this, see Note 746709 (Information about workflows in SAP E-Recruiting).

In particular, consider the maintenance of the WebFlow Service-Handler (WF_HANDCUST).

SAP Customizing Implementation Guide -> SAP E-Recruiting -> Technical Settings -> Workflow.

Communications interface

Communication services (e-mail) are also necessary. To be able to send e-mail actively from the system, you must set up the communications interface. Note that you can send any mails using this service. You should adjust your test systems so that you can only send mail to certain internal address areas (for example, *myCompany.com).
