Hi everybody,
We want to allow our customers and distributors to search for (their) products and then get a price displayed and allow them to save a quote.
How would you do this in SAP and why?
-With Internet Sales on top of ECC
-With webchannel in CRM
We have pricing already in ECC and want to keep it there. Do we need IPC for CRM or Internet Sales?
Any help is appreciated.
Gerald
Hey Gerald
How are you? Hope all is well.
Regarding the query below on top of the response below, here are few more suggestions.
If you do no want to invest time and money to impliment a full blown SAP CRM Web Channel solution then you can also opt for eCommerce for ERP (Internet sales) and can use all the pricing and master data set up related to material master etc to create a B2B Web shop. Now for IPC use, it would depend upon how complex your pricing is. Do you have customer specific pricing or is it pretty much standard using list prices? As it is typical to have customer specific pricing for most ERP clients, IPC may be needed to be turned on in your scenario. For this you would need WEB AS JAVA connected to your ECC systems.
Hope this helps. If you need to discuss it more, let me know.
Take care
Jai
