How to install EHS , Master data and transaction data

Hi,

Could anybody give suggestion how to install EHS in ECC6.0

What are Master data and Transaction data with - codes

Hi,

master data: The information system for Controlling provides you with master data indexes for business processes, cost objects, cost centers, cost elements, activity types, and internal orders, as well as for statistical key figures. This enables you to check at any time, which master data has been maintained within the system. From the master data index, you can branch to the master data records of the displayed objects. Therefore, from the information system you have access to all information relating to the Controlling (CO) master data.

Transaction data: A transaction can be started with a variant. A transaction with a variant can have its own transaction code, which you can then use to execute the transaction with the appropriate variant. Transactions can be client-specific (this means that their corresponding variants can also be client-specific).

For installation of EHS, suggested to follow the links:-

The installation of mySAP PLM like as mySAP ERP. After installation done, just you will have to some Add-Ons and some componets, whcih are available in http://service.sao.com/downloads

First you will have to discuus with client, what they want and also get the confirmation and install it.

My question is EH&S master data and Transaction data

ex:- if you take MM module

Master data- Material master, vendor master, inforecord like that

Transaction data- Pr and Purchase order

Hello Srinivasu

I presume you are working with ECC 6.0. For installing masterdata you can use i) EHS Data Editor ii) EHS OCC (Open Content Connector) or iii) dat files. Now coming to Various Masterdata for EHS they are

I) Phrases

ii) Specifications

iii) Report Templates

iv) Reports

v) Property Trees

If you can expand what are the modules you are working then may be it is possible to give you complete list of other master data.

Hi Sreenivasu ,

Can u elaborate on your requirements ....

First of all you have to activate PLM extension for EH&S.

Master data can bu uplpded through the LSMW or BDC.
