CG54 Error Message - Activity 'Send' could not be carried out for certain reports

Hi,

On SAP live system, a user in Sales has tried to send a report via CG54 in pdf format which is set up to send the MSDS to her Outlook Inbox. She entered the Specification, selected the required MSDS, went into Report > Send and the 'Maintain Object Keys' box appear. She entered the Specification and selected the tick option and it returned with an error message at the bottom of the screen with a red warning symbol.

I have enclosed the screenshots for you to take a look.

She has advised me her colleagues are not experiencing the same issue as her.

This error appears on selected Specification and on 'old' MSDS.

I have looked into her SAP role profile against 2 other colleagues with the same roles and she has the same access levels and there's no issues there so I've eliminated this part.

1) Is there anything in SAP configuration I need to consider?

2) Is there something on her Windows Operating System that is causing this intermittent issue?

3) Is there a document you could provide on how CG54 should be used and the functions, please?

Short description (how to use CG54)

1.) Select transaction

2.) Check "Initiator" (for which SDS/MSDS should be dispatched)

3.) Check if you can find "released" reports. For this purpose you can "search" for by using "specification key" or by "material number". For dispatch to customer (or internally). in most cass the best option is to search for usiung "material number". May be you have to "switch" the search screen of CG54 (/from substance master to material master).

4.) The system will then show "released" reports. BUt you should use additonalseleciotn criterias (if possible). e.g. language, validity area.. If the system is "detecting" released reports the "report tree" is generated

5.) Now "mark" the report you would like to dispatch then yoiu "menue" send etc. If the "dispatch" should be doen internally in most cases you will use the "report recipient". Check for person (is there an address maintained). If so: select then "immediate" and "INT" as communicaiton: The MSDS (according to your explanatation) should be sent.

I have no experience in using the "inbox" option of SAP: The above mentioned option is designed to get the PDF as "eMail" (whataver email solutionyou use (Outlook etc.)

Anything else: please check online help
