Open TRs not getting deleted after TECO production order

Hi,

We're having an issue. We're using WMPP interface to supply the production line for the production orders. The auto TRs are generated when the production orders are released.

After TECO the production orders, the open TRs are not getting deleted automatically.

Could anyone know if these TRs get deleted automatically when we do the TECO production order?

If yes, do we have any restriction or condition based on this, the TRs get deleted?

Please explain.

Thank you.

with regards,

Muthu.

Hello Muthu,

The creation of the TR's on the release of the production order is based out of the production scheduling profile defined in OPKP . So once we release the PO, the subsequent step of creation of TR for material staging happens.

However, i m afraid that that doing a TECO will automatically reverse the subsequent step of creation of TR's.

You will probably have to write a Z program and get this done.

Thoughts ?

Thanks,

Abhijit

Hi Abhijit,

Thank you for your reply. It does not help me.

The auto TR creation is happening now as required. No issue on this.

When you do the TECO, it also cancels the TRs. I tested this also.

There're some scenario this open TRs cancellation is not happening. I do not know when these open TRs are not cancelled. If you know answer for this, please let me know.

Thank you for your help and time.

Muthu,

Are some withdrawls already done for components? Can you please check, that the TR that are getting canceled after TECo are the one's that have a previous quantity withdrawn?

I was able to simulate this scenario where if i created TR for 2 components , one of which had a previous quantity withdrawn and the other had 0 withdrawn. now when i did the TECO, it canceled ( processed indicator on the TR) for the one that was created for the material that had a previous quantity withdrawn, for the other one i had the TR in open status.

again maybe, this is just for the scenario i tested.

Thanks,

Hi Abhijit,

Thank you for your response again. Yes, it works good if we have only open TRs. TECO will reverse the TRs. If there are completed TRs and open TRs, the open TRs are not closed. This is where I'm having trouble. Looks like we have to execute the Archive program to cleanup the open TRs in this case.

Thank you for your response on this. Appreciate your response on this.
