I am assuming you copied the BO metadata ( CMS database) to a test schema, I will say change the name of the schema there and then go to the CCM >CMS > properties and under the configuration change the cms database and point it to the test schema.

      Angelica,

After trying to get our test environment up for 3 days with no success, I finally decided to do what you suggested. It worked! I was able to retrieve the reports. Thank you so much for your post. I will make a note of this in the future.

You have to be little descriptive in your question.

If you have a everyday BIAR back up in process from where you can restore without hurting the development work of other users since the time the reports were deleted.

If you have no additional risk in restoring your windows to a previous day.

We do have a backup of the filestore and the database. We have restored the database to a test server. We are going to have the filestore restored on a test server soon. I tried to start the Central Management Server, but it is giving me an error. Also, when I try to login to the CMC, I get an error that indicates the test database is still pointing the production server. Where do I reconfigure the server name? I want it to point to the test server.

      Thanks,

      Maureen
