We are using only leading ledger 0L assigned to all companies. Initially we didn't assign any accounting principle to combination of ledger 0L and company codes (table FINSV_LD_CMP_AP), but we have assigned accounting principle FRS to ledger group 0L.(table FAGL_TRGT_LDGR)
When posting FI journals or asset transactions, we don't see any accounting principle field in tables ACDOCA, ANEK, etc.. Table BKPF-ACC_PRINCIPLE shows blank.
But when trying to post WBS settlement, error message FINS_ACDOC_POST001 shows "No allowed combinations ledger, company and acc. principle maintained". This is the first error that requires such configuration after many FI and AA postings.
After we have added FRS to the configuration (table FAGL_TRGT_LDGR), the settlement is successful. The FI document is posted and FRS is showing in BKPF-ACC_PRINCIPLE. Why is this an exception? Other FI postings are still blank in this field. How is accounting principle used in reporting as there are no selections in standard reports eg. trial balance, financial statement?
