Error in position hierarchy

Hi,

I am having a issue in displaying Employee hierarchy in OrgModeler. I am using BAPI BAPI_ORGUNITEXT_DATA_GET and the relation ship used in evaluation path is A008, B002.

Nakisa fields:

Hierarchy ID Field: Object_Id

Hierarchy Parent Field: ParentNo

Element ID Field: Object_Id

Child Exists Filter: HasChildren= 'True' (without and with )

OrgChart Root: XXXXXXXX

Default OrgChart Root: OrgChart Root (Checked with other options also)

i am not getting the structure properly.

In top it is showing the position and one level down person. every position is showing seperately like this only.

But in the OrgHierarchy it is coming properly....

where to change to get the structure correctly.

Thanks

Chandu

Hi Chandu,

I do not understand exactly what your problem is. However, do you maintain the S to S relationships in SAP (I think S A 002 S)?

Many thanks,

Hi Luke,

I maintained S A 002 S relation and S A008 P relation.

but i am getting the structure like:

Position

Person

Sub ordinate Position

Sub ordinate Position

Sub ordinate Position

Person

Sub ordinate Position

Position and Person showing in different box and that is one level down same like R/3 structure (PPOM_OLD)

but in OrgChart I am getting correctly (Position and Person in the same box).

Thanks in advance

Hi Chandu,

I still do not fully understand the problem, can you expand on your description please? Are you able to post a link to a screenshot?

Many thanks,

Hi Luke,

I am pasting the url link, pls gothrough it and suggest me...

the below link is from OrgChart, Position Hierarchy, here it position and person appear in the same box

https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/download/attachments/9055/Nakisa+OrgChart.JPG

The below link is from OrgModeler, Positon Hierarchy... Position and Person is showing in defferent boxes.

One more request, Role mapping is not enabled, how to enable the role mapping?

Thanks

Hi Chandu,

Is this the Live or Staged version of OrgModeler? For Position/Employee hierarchy you should try Pernr as the Element ID field.

Many thanks,

Hi Chandu,

Your 'Default OrgChart Root' should be 'OrgChart Root'. All the fields looks correct.

Do you have HR-OCI configured in SAP? Does the user account connecting to SAP have the correct authorisations to view the missing data?

Many thanks,

Luke

Hi Chandu,

Is this in the Position Hierarchy of the OrgChart module of OrgModeler or within a Position Hierarchy Scenario?

The configuration for the OrgChart module and for Scenarios are different, although the Scenarios are based on the OrgChart module configuration. If you change configuration in the OrgChart module it will not be changed in your Scenario configuration automatically.

Many thanks,

Luke
