SAP Credit Management

In credit management, if I were to delete credit control area CCAP on customer accounts that we have changed to credit control area APUS, please let me know if anything besides credit will be impacted.

I would also like you to investigate the credit exposure amount of 7,822,317.26 that is showing on account 7155 under credit control area CCAP.

    Hi,

You have to run a transaction F.28 to re-create credit master data after organizational Changes. You can first execute this in test run and if everything is ok then execute it without Test mode unchecked. Thanks

      Hi Mubina,
As mentioned by Dilip , Please execute F.28 (Program RFDKLI20) post credit control area changes.

F.28 is executed to update credit data(in this case credit control area) in old SD & FI documents when there is a change in the determination of the credit control area: Assignment from company code, entry in customer master data, entry in sales area data, user exit.

      Example:-
      Credit Control Area: CCAP
      Credit Account: 7155
      Credit Exposure: 7,822,317.26

Note:- All sales orders for credit account 7155 will have credit control area CCAP (VBAK-KKBER)
Now Credit control area for credit account 7155 is changed from CCAP to AUPS

      Before F.28 Execution:-
      Credit Control Area: APUS
      Credit Account: 7155
      Credit Exposure: 0

      Post F.28 Execution:-
      Credit Control Area: APUS
      Credit Account: 7155
      Credit Exposure: 7,822,317.26

Note:- All sales orders for credit account 7155 will have credit control area AUPS (VBAK-KKBER)
Credit exposure is also updated for new credit control area.

As per my understanding, change in credit control area will have only credit management related impacts.
