Can a client/enterprise buy ecc without consent of development co.

Dear Gurus,

Can any one point something relates to the above sub.

Can an enterprise buy the SAP software from SAP AG independently, then decide the implementation co./partner for Golive. And is there any requirement that the implementation co./partner should be a SAP partner.

Required a light on this, kindly help

Yes . An enterpiece can buy package from SAP A.G . enterprise can reach the nearest SAP sales office to get the pack and SAP also buys to customers directly not to implementation partners.

SAP recommends for implementation partners. But ultimately its customer decision whether to go with them or not.

But my point is whether the companies recommended by SAP for implementation are associated with SAP or not..

For example, I do have an software consulting company, and has been doing project in dot net only with out having any association with SAP. Can I go for the implementation project OR can I get the recommendation from SAP to implement the project.

What I think is that, Only the companies who have the association or taken distributorship from SAP can allow for the implementation along with the ECC pack.

Dear Sarat,

You can get the implementation partnership from SAP. SAP charges some specific amount for that.

Assiciation with SAP means: Becoming Implementation partnership.

You can go for implementation, the only thing is how you are going to convince the customer to whom you are implementing SAP. ( even if you dont have SAP implementation partnership, But you are able to convince the customer for implementation then you are done.)

The third point is : Even dont have implemenation partnership you can do implementations.

As you know that lot of factors will be there to achieve the customer, its all about the capability to grb the customer and convince him to get the implemenation ( Even you dont have partnership).

You can hire any SAP implementing partner as implementors.
