I have set up to create Automatic TO for replenishment. I have the required configuration in place. But, when I'm triggering the replenishment "TO is not created automatically (infact TO creation in failing)".
So, When I process the TR manually using LT04, System exactly picks the Storage type to "Remove the stock", but gives an Error "System could not find source bin"
If you observe there's lot of stock in bins and all the required information in available to process TO. So, When I key in the bin manually it creates a TO.
Can anyone please assist why do you think TO is failing and when I manually Key in the Bin it works, when it has all the required information to process.
Hi,
For the error "System could not find source bin" Check what is the stratergy used for the Stock Removal in the configuration of the Storage Type. This stratergy is used for automatic determination of Storage BIN.
There are various stratergy like
LIFO
FIFO
No stock removal stratergy
if the third option is used then there will be no automatic determination.
.......
Again storage type that has been detrmined by the system for picking is based on the Stratergy for Picking in material master WM1 view.
Also check for the other indicators in storage type configuration like
Full stock removal act

Hi,
Automatic or Immediate. If it is automatic TO, try creating by report RLAUTA10.
If it is immediate TO creation, check if the storage type that the TO selects during manual creation is same as the one mentioned in the WM view of the material master in which you place your replenishment data.
If they both are same and if you use SU management in warehouse, check if your palletization data is proper in customising.

Hello,
Please check following things.
1.Storage type indicator maintained in material master
2.Storage type search with storage type indicator maintained in config.
If this is there, system should create TO automatically.

you may check the material master WM1 view and see if the values are correct. the other place you may want have a look is the stocks. Pls check in LS26 if there are stocks with 2 different sto.types. but for this, I am not able to think of any reason why it should fail. I have faced this issue, quiet a few times and i always found that there are normally stocks with 2 sto.types in the same location.
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Mani.
