I have Crystal Report Pro v. 11.0.0.1282
machine os: Win 2003 Server R2 SP1
Trying to run a report that pulls data from a Progress Database. Created a System DSN on the machine that has crystal reports installed locally. When trying to either generate the report, or preview it, not only does the Crystal Report Program become u201CNot Respondingu201D but the machine that has the Progress Database grinds to a halt to the point of needing to be restart by pushing the power button to do a hard Restart.
The system DSN that was created uses the a Driver by the name of DATADIRECT 4.10 32-bit Progress SQL92 v9.1E
Any and ALL assistance would be greatly appreiciated.
Please note, I have almost zero experince with Crystal and the supposed " Crystal Expert" we have in house... well I guess I shouldn't say.
Please re-post if this is still an issue to the Data Connectivity - Crystal Reports Forum or purchase a case and have a dedicated support engineer work with you directly
