i am getting some java error .when i was installing jce_policy_1-4-2.zip after getting log error.

please help me.

Hi

I have the same error , my installation is on maxdb. I find that stopping the DB service and restarting, then logoff and log on and restart sapinst will contine the import , however it is vey slow thereafter. Also ensure that the .BCK file does not exist in the sapinst_dir directory....

This seems to be related to a Registry key for McAfeeFramework... did you disable your Antivirus before starting the installation?
