Not able to browse the Services registry

Hi

Using SAP NetWeaver PI 7.1

I'm trying to browse the services registry. The link is

http://sapnw71<any DNS prefix>:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tc_esiesp_erui/Menu

Entering wildcard * and clicking GO doesnt yield any results. Probably the registry is not connected. If such is the case, can anyone tell me how to configure and connect to the registry.

Need comprehensive details because I'm new to SAP NetWeaver PI 7.1. If anyone has any step by step procedure to connect to the registry,it'll be of great help..

use http://hostname:portname/sr

check you have entry for the server in your locak host file.
