sap_basis-70014

sap_aba-70014

sap_appl-60012

1-from which client i have to logged in with which user.?

A. You have to apply support packs through 000 client and equilent to SAP and DDIC user. But you cannnot use sap* in 000 client*

2- from which server i have to update( i have DEV,QAS,PRD)

A. First you have to apply to Development system and check all the activities and system performance of the system.

Do same thing to Quality system and check system activities, then apply finally to Production system

3- from where i can download the patches.

you can download from sap service market place but at present you cannot download patches from sap service market place because this servicve are removed from service market place. You have to downlaod from you solution manager.

4- which patch i have to update first.

Apply patches in follwing sequence

Basis

ABAP

APPLI

HR

and also you need to apply in sequence of number

5- what is the important patches which i have to update.

thanks

NEITHER DDIC nor SAP* should be used to install updates and/or addons using SPAM/SAINT. Use a COPY of DDIC instead.

Download them all and let SPAM define a valid queue, read the notes popping up.

Sadiq,

All corrective software packages, for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 and SAP Business Suite 2005 and beyond that are delivered after April 2nd, 2007 will ONLY be available via SAP Solution Manager's Maintenance Optimizer

Check this link https://websmp201.sap-ag.de/solman-mopz

This will answer your query.

Thanks,

Client 000 with a user who has SAP_ALL & SAP_NEW

> 2- from which server i have to update( i have DEV,QAS,PRD)

It should be started from DEV then QA and after verfication it should be allpied on PRD

> 3- from where i can download the patches.

htp://service.sap.com/swdc

> 4- which patch i have to update first.

ABAP & BASIS should apply simultaneously then rest of others.

Users are out of system & buisness client is locked
