'Application has problem' error message

This message occurs when a user tries to login into a company database. Then the system informs you that its has created a dump file which you can look at. But when you open the dump file it is not readable enough to understand the problem.

Since I wanted to ascertain the correct position of the said database, I run the 'DBCC check ('[database_name]') the command returned errors.

Any assistance in sorting this out will be appreciated.
